As the Founder and Managing Attorney of JW Law Firm, PLLC, Attorney Fenelus brings a unique perspective shaped by her personal journey, diverse legal experience, and commitment to meaningful advocacy. Born in Haiti, she immigrated to the United States at the age of ten. That experience instilled in her a deep appreciation for opportunity, perseverance, and the importance of having someone willing to advocate for you when the stakes are high.
Her legal career has taken her through different sides of the justice system, including service as an Administrative Law Judge, Hearing Officer, Judicial Law Clerk, and in prosecutorial and public defense roles. These experiences have shaped her belief that effective advocacy requires more than knowing the law. It requires preparation, sound judgment, courage, and the willingness to truly listen.
Attorney Fenelus is particularly passionate about immigration and removal defense, where the outcome of a case can profoundly affect an individual’s safety, freedom, and future. She approaches each matter with careful attention to the facts, the law, and the person behind the case. Her commitment to protecting families also extends to estate planning and family law in North Dakota, where she helps clients navigate important decisions and plan for the people and legacies that matter most.
Beyond the courtroom, Attorney Fenelus is a wife and mother of four. Her Christian faith is the foundation of her values and guides her commitment to serving others with integrity, compassion, dignity, and excellence. She believes every person deserves to be heard, every family deserves thoughtful guidance, and every legal matter deserves careful attention.
